I recently purchased the Galaxy S24 Ultra. When installing applications from the Play Store onto my device, I noticed that some of the text on the app icons are cut-off and doesn't appear in full. Unlike many other devices, I couldn't find an option to rename the applications. Is there a way to fix this?

It sounds like Samsung has made some changes to the photography concept in the S24 series, aiming for a more realistic approach. This could mean adjustments to color rendering or other aspects of image processing. Updates to camera software are common, even after a phone's release, to improve performance and features. It's great that the update has been released in Korea and America, and it's likely to roll out to other regions soon as well.

Yes this is an issue with the long app names. Samsung switched to single line app names since One UI 6. I'm using 4x6 gid, so icons get more space between them.

Try to change grid size, , just touch and hold an empty space on the home screen, and then tap on the home screen settings icon. You should see two selections Home Screen Grid and Apps Screen Grid.

Tapping on either one of those choices should bring up a number of choices to change the ratio of apps on your phone’s home and apps screen, which will also change the sizes of those apps. Depending on which phone you own, the home screen grid choices could be 4×5, 4×6, 5×5 and 5×6, while the app screen grid ratio choices are 4×4, 4×6, 5×5 and 5×6
