Android - 8.0 Oreo

I'm still using Androrid 7 and I'm about installing Oreo update, and I have a lot (+1000) of memos on the official " Memo " app which comes with samsung phones and I can't move or send or even back those memos up. For the people who updated their phones; If I installed Oreo update, would my memos get lost? Thanks in advance.

No they will not be deleted. but u may create a backup of ur memos.

I updated my s8 and everything was there after update.
