I get the point, but I only use my phone to communicate. Explain to me why should I spend a thousand rands for photo editor. For me, it's just a way for smartphone companies to sell their devices. I have a good phone, which is still in good condition, and I don't see a reason why I should upgrade or spend more more just for Al features. Anyway, it's a people's choice. when my current phone is no longer ger working, it's then I'll consider getting a new device.
When I buy phones I use it for Schooling and Presentations so it depends on why do you need the smartphone, it must be benefit you not drain your money
I usually use a laptop for studying and work related matters, but I'm not criticizing people who prefer or buy expensive phones, it depend on how huge your pocket is.
