To anyone that can assist me, I hope you are well.

With ny old Samsung note 5 I could download files from telegram and locate them in a subfolder in the My Files Folder. Like I would download PDFs and the ones I dont want I can delete in this subfolder. For some reason I cant locate this folder on my S22 ultra. I can still download stuff. But can't find the location of the download.

I would also like to know what is taking up my space. First I thought it might be a build up of videos and photos but according to storage scan, something else (other) I can not locate is taking the storage.

Hope anyone can help me as I would like to delete some stuff, but not everything.

1. I believe Google tightened up their security with what apps can do with "access to files" so the telegram subfolder you're looking for is probably further in the directory under the app file name like com.telegram.blah blah blah in the "Android" folder...

2. When you look at storage space, there should be an "i" icon next to it. Click on it (I'm not sure if there's a permission pop up, but follow through). You should see the space taken by "other" redirect to apps as you've given access for the storage manager to view file data.

I use the Note 20. In my files, I found the Telegram folder by first finding the downloads folder. Inside it I found the telegram folder with all the things I downloaded.SmartSelect_20220727-154932_My Files_147953_1658929772.jpg
