Hi guys and samsung lovers
It has been couple of weeks now where I noticed the rotation button went missing, now it shows a small little icon at the bottom of the screen, I personally don't like it, I even regret why I upgraded my phone, I enjoyed my screen rotates automatically when I turn my phone to watch YouTube or checking a picture on my phone... is there a way I can get back to my old fashion rotation? I like my note 20 ultra, but the rotation is really playing on my nerves

Hi, is your auto rotate button missing from the quick panel ? If so, try this :

To open the Quick settings panel, swipe down from the top of the screen using two fingers.

Tap More options (the three vertical dots), and then tap Edit buttons or Button order.

To move a button, touch and hold it, and then drag it into the desired position. Tap Done when you're finished.

See screenshots below

Yes the rotate button is missing but that's not the issue. The issue is, since the last update, there is no more auto rotate. Now, when you rotate your phone, whether it be to look at a picture, watch a video or anything else, there's a icon on the bottom right of the screen that you have to push to make the screen rotate. It's very a annoying. When I turn my phone, I want the screen to auto rotate. It does not do that even with auto rotate (auto rotate home screen is the only option) turned on.

Pull down your Quick Settings panel as described above.

Find the "Portrait" icon and long-press on it.

If "Rotate button on navigation" is enabled, disable it.

At the very top, you may need to re-enable Auto Rotate.

Kinda odd and annoying the Samsung UI people not only 'hid' these options within the Quick Settings panel, but made it a long-press on the button just to get to it.

My phone started too rotated from portrait mode wgen my phone is upright to landsacpe whitout turning my phone to landsakpe. I have it in portrait lock mode, and now my camera mode is landscape even in portrait mode. What's up with that.
