This new software update is honestly a HUGE disappointment, the most important changes in Android 12 are exceptionally half baked in One UI 4.

1. Color Palette is so wack, it's like it was added just for the sake of adding the feature. It's not as rich and vibrant as it is in stock Android, which honestly seems more attractive and fun.

2. Because Color Palette is so bad, this causes clashes and inconsistencies in the look and feel of the OS. I mean you have Google apps' widgets beautifully adopting the color of the wallpaper and then you have dumb Samsung apps that just stay black or white depending on the theme, which is frustrating and not good to look at because you have all these conflicting colours just because Samsung likes to be exclusive and just ruin fun things..

3. The update is riddled with bugs. Ever since upgrading the software, I've been having issue after issue. My phone now stutters and sometimes briefly freezes, which has never happened before the update. At times I can't switch the torch in the notification shade as the button becomes unresponsive after turning the flashlight on, I had to resort to opening the camera a couple of times just so it can switch it off.

4. My phone's overall performance has went to **bleep**, apps take a bit longer than before to open and they display the app icon first as if you're opening the app for the first time, which is annoying coz it makes my phone less snappy and more of a drag. I freed up so much space and uninstalled apps thinking performance would improve but nothing, my phone did exceptionally well on One UI 3.1 when it was 92% full with average ram usage of over 85%.

5. Share page is the f**king pits now, it's so limited and doesn't display all the apps that you're able to share to, even when it's expanded, which is a drag now coz it eliminates ease of access.

Please the next time you think of giving us a half baked OS update like this one, consider keeping it to yourselves because stuff like this cause frustration instead of excitement.

Stuff like this happen, maybe wait for 4.1

I doubt most of the issues I've been looking forward to in Android 12 will be addressed

Same on the A52 4G. One UI 3.1 was perfect compared to 4.0.

I got the VB1 update this morning, and it seems couple of the quirks have been worked upon. Not 100% there but good enough for a start.

I regret not seeing your post on time. I updated my phone and I swear this was a terrible mistake.

I actually knew what I was getting myself into coz I watched a lot of YouTube videos about One UI 4, just didn't think the experience would be different hands on 🥲

Yup you are right. I just hate this new update. Worst update ever in my opinion.
