Note 20 fingerprint scanner not responding.

Hi Please help my Note 20 fingerprint scanner stopped working about a month ago, I was told to wipe cache partition, I did that but it still does the same thing, the screen is not damaged.

No but I deleted the fingers that were saved to try and re-register them after the fingerprint scanner had failed.

Hi, Xolani12 please run a service test on your Fingerprint sensor.

1. From the phone dialler, enter *#0*#.
2. Select Sensor
3. Scroll down
4. Under the Fingerprint test, Select Normal scan.

Kindly advise if after the normal scan do all the tests show fail on the results?

Apologies for the inconvenience, this may be a software bug please check that you have the latest software version on your device, most updates are bug fixes.

1. From the home screen, swipe either up or down to access apps.
2. Tap Settings.
3. Tap Software update.
4. Tap Download updates manually.
