Note 20 Ultra Dead Screen & Repair

Just want to share with you guys what happened to my phone and the experience i had with the Samsung Service Care Center.

While sending a photo on whatsapp, the screen went off. I thought the phone locked or turned off. Turned out it was not emitting light anymore, phone was on, receiving notifications that i can hear and see on my watch, even was able to type in my pin by guessing the placement of the numbers, and the fingerprints reader was also working.

I have a 2 years samsung care+ warranty. Took it yesterday at 2PM to MOE service center, received it today at 4PM fixed. No reset or after fix format was done or needed, and it was considered as a device flaw and i was not charged. 

I wanted to share the issue and thank Nabil from the service center who followed up with me and got it done in 24 hours, knowing that on Fridays there are no technicians working. 

Make sure to get Samsung Care +.

The only downside is that they removed my white dome screen protector during the fixing process, and i had to pay 43$ from my own pocket for a new one.

Hey, Not always :) i had a horrible experience with my galaxy gear, 2 years ago where it was returned to me open after the check up and had water enter it. Stayed 2 months with management on and off in order to sort it out. I give credit where due and share the good and bad.

I was on vacation my Note 20 Ultra 5g screen sudden dark call ringer notification, Bixby working also I used phone with help of Samsung Dex. As I was outside UAE notable to visit Samsung Service Center but after few days of dark screen with hit of Auto Software update display back and phone working perfectly.
