@Luxon I want to assume you are using a third party call recorder! In that case, that's not a malfunction, it's a security and privacy approach being implemented by Google starting with Android 12. Very soon, I believe, all call recording apps on the PlayStore will be barred.
The problem has been with how and what data the call recorder apps accessed on your device without users knowledge. Most of the them behaved like phishing tools for their developers.
