The Note 20 Ultra's 4,500-mAh battery might not be the biggest in the market but was more than enough to laste during my regular daily use thanks to the display’s variable refresh rate 👌🏼

The phone's battery reaches optimal output after a few recharges and discharges and on the phone learning the owner's usage pattern and everything settling down.

On my heaviest use days, I navigated with Google Maps for about an hour, used my social applications, took some photos and spoke on the phone for over an hour with no significant drain, and routinely take meetings calls without issue, so I rarely end up looking for a battery top-up before evening time🌛

Also I regularly use some tricks to reduce power consumption like using the system Dark Mode, putting unused apps into sleep.

However, I'd call battery life very good, and it'll certainly take me through a typical day with more than 30% of battery juice 😊

Hi Basel, can you post a screenshot of the battery consumption chart? I'm getting 5 hrs of on time screen on average, with 120Hz off, if it's on, 3.5 hrs. I take it off the charger at 730am by 3pm it's around 15% because i use it alot. Yes i did every trick in the book, it's not my 1st rodeo, no there are no unusual apps, i reset it many times to start off fresh and all i can say is that is the worst battery life i had of all my samsung phones used since 2010 (all the notes and S) so what is your 'typical day' timing

Hi Jimmy, I will send you today's chart by end of this day, you can see the consumption between the 12th afternoon till the 13th, with a mild usage and no major battery drain.
I will send you also some tips to save battery.

Hi basel, tried all tips and tricks in the book, been using notes since 2010,we shouldn't cripple a 1300$ device to make the best out of it imo, yes the dark mode looks better before saving power, but i uninstalled everything that might be power consuming, put all apps to sleep, auto restarts bal, bla, bla... Look at my patterns, i calculate the SOT off course when it's not charging cause that's the way to do it and look at the consumption attached, I'm living with battery anxiety 😄 it's not fair to have a better chip overseas with at least 20% better performance and consumption. I attached a few from mine, on 60hz 4k(honeslty i didn't see the benefit of 120hz,for what i do it didn't change my life and i prefer watching vids on 4k) no matter how u spin it, 6hrs average SOT and dead before or at 5pm. The note 10+ used to have 30% remaining by that time, with the same apps, usage, and a smaller battery. I give up honeslty, this all day battery is maybe for other users but not me, the least thing that consumes power is calls, i had 4 5 hrs of concalls that only consumed 10%...

Hi Jimmy, I totally agree with, we shouldn't cripple a 1300$ phone, for me i don't use all battery saving tricks, my auto synchronising is on, my screen auto brightness is on, and I don't put all my apps to sleep, I always exclude email and social media apps and some other necessary apps, today I had a quick busy day so I couldn't drain the battery below 57% since I unplugged my charger at 11am and now it's 12:40 am, even though I used YouTubemusic and GoogleMaps and I had a couple of meeting calls, and in between I had many phone calls, I do suggest you to try one thing, i you feel that 5G coverage is quite poor in you area then try to switch to 4G network in connection settings and use the device for one day.
Poor 5G network coverage can result in fast battery drainage and raising the device temperature.

Hello, same here, only critical apps are not set to sleep. I have the 4g model, my s20+ did not connect to 5g,long story short, my house and work are not yet covered by etisalat 5g, nor my home country, so i went ahead amd got the 4g variant, which turned to be 8gb ram, which funny enough is not mentioned anywhere on samsung's site, or reviewers in usa or europe were aware of. But that's one is on me, anyways, between millimeter wave an all, it's still not a 100% and won't affect my personal needs, 4g+ is more than enough, wifi is ultra fast, and never found the need for ultra high speeds in buffering or uploads, maybe in a year from now since i change phones yearly, to me and what i do, 120hz and 5g are the least needed thing right now. Anyways, lesson learned, will go for snapdragon from now on and never a pre order again, until they get their stuff right. Cheers.

Check your background app usage.
I've had this battery issue 7 days out the box, but like everyone said got to charge and let discharge to reach optimum.
I've realized though that whatsapp by far is the worst with background usage. I've put it to sleep when not in use and tried messaging myself and still got push notifs (need whatsapp for work) so hopefully that works.

Hey, tried everything, nothing unusual in the background. Issue might be me, i use it a lot and by 3 4 pm it's gone. Using notes since 2012,change them yearly, that is by far the worst one in terms of battery. Mind you, on 60Hz and 30% brightness...
