Unfortunately, after One UI 3.0 update, device SIM card IMS status is Not registered, even after hard reset the device, issue returned back after around 16 hours of resetting it.

So, VoLTE and VoWiFi are not working.

Please help,,,

I reset the device again to check when exactly IMS get unregistered, and found that it got lost after restarting the device.
Which is weird.

BTW, I have eSIM and SIM cards.

😂😂😂😂😂

Fortunately, fix was simple, deactivate then reactivate SIM and eSIM. And it's back normal ( Settings => Connections => SIM Card manager )

SIMs are registered as well as VoLTE / VoWiFi are working fine.

But unfortunately I have to do this every time I restart the device 🧐🤔

Hi,

Kindly perform the following steps in order to sort out the problem:
- From Settings > Connections > Mobile Networks > Network Operators > Search for network or search manual > Select the right network.
- Then Restart the phone.
- If the same issue exists, please open Settings > General management > Reset > Reset network settings > Enter the PIN of the screen > Reset network settings.
- Try another SIM card.
- Otherwise, please contact the network provider. Note that Samsung Galaxy series are not compatible with VoLTE services overseas according to the agreements between Samsung and the service providers in Gulf countries.

Hi specialist,

Tried your suggestions and unfortunately none is working, ISP has nothing to do with the issue since it appears in this device only, and it's working fine after Deactivate & Reactivate the SIM cards from SIM manager.
Please note that issue wasn't there before One UI 3.0. Also, it maybe related to eSIM availability.

Hope it will be fixed in your upcoming update.

Hi Samsung_Specialist,

I am having the same issue on a T-Mobile US and have gone through the troubleshooting steps you listed.  Reset Network Settings, Had the carrier re-provision my phone, tried a new sim card.  I am still having the issue and like the OP, the fixes are very brief eventually the phone starts to throw errors noting not registered on the network.

Coverage is not an issue because my other Samsung devices on the same carrier are not having the issue.

I did not start having these issues until I updated to the most recent available firmware for Fold 3 on Sunday January 16th.  I am expecting a follow up call from my carrier and they stated if these most recent efforts do not fix the issue then they have eliminated network side issues and would need to look at the hardware.

Same happened to me, did you find a fix? I haven't had service in 3 months going on 4. Sprint said it was Samsung and Samsung said it was Sprint. No one wants to help me to get a replacement. My phone is perfectly fine but no signal. I have a glorified tablet basically. Im using Samsung fold 3. After the update it went to hell. Please i need my phone. Any help would be appreciated.
