Frame rate drop after One UI 6 update

After One UI 6 update, I notice that the refresh rate drops on my z fold 5 at random times. That goes from website scrolling to the whole phone interface and the only option for me to do is restart the device.

I have not experienced this on my S23 Ultra.

Has anyone noticed this?

Turning on power saving then off seems to work for me. Happens at least 3 times a day, can't find a cause for it yet. Seems to happen only on the cover screen.

Same here. Although I'm with zFold3, it's behaving the same! Drives me nuts this update, it's so buggy I really don't know how this passed through Samsungs QA dep...

Same here on Fold3. Turning battery saver on and off seems to fix the issue for now.

Toggling motion smoothness does the trick for me. The frame rate drops when I switch from tablet mode to cover screen mode.

I found the same things as you: toggling motion smoothness from Adaptive > Standard > Adaptive fixes the problem for a while; and that something about folding the device closed triggers the framerate drop. The framerate drop only seems to be on the front screen.

I'm on a Z Fold 3, One UI 6.0, March security patch. I've noticed this since I first updated to One UI 6.0, whenever the first patch was.
