need help with A30. camera is blurry when trying to take photo through what's ap

Hi there 

Please can anyone assist me. My samsung A30 camera was working just fine. I dont know what happened. But I have tried everything clearing the cache. Restarting the camera.and I mean everything. 

When I for example open up what's app and try to take a photo through what's app it is blurry. I cant take a photo through what's app anymore. 

Problem 2. When I go into the camera app to take a photo. It is automatically on the 2 trees with flash. It should automatically open on the 3 trees with flash availability. 

Is there anything I can do its driving me crazy.

Hi, sarahweed follow the steps below to do this: 
 
1. From the home screen, swipe either up or down to access apps. 
2. Select a Camera. 
3. Select Settings. 
4. Select Reset settings. 
5. Tap Reset.

Kindly check that you have the latest software version on your device it may resolve the issue. 

1.From the home screen, swipe either up or down to access apps. 

2.Tap Settings. 

3.Tap About device. 

4.Tap Software update. 

5.Tap Download updates manually.

I have the exact Same problem. It all started after I did a software update on 22nd October 2020. I have tried force stop, reset, reboot, shut down etc. nothing seems to work.

me too!!!!! so glad I am not the only one. starting to wonder if my font change is the problem. i know it sounds stupid. but hey i have run out of options.

Agreed! The worst is that this is a company phone and I need my camera for the work that I do. Especially doing video calls and directing someone. And I can not use back camera for WhatsApp video calls. The Selfie camera is not a problem.

Hi, Nightlyf kindly clear the camera cache. 

Follow the steps below to do this: 

1. From the home screen, swipe either up or down to access apps. 
2. Select Settings. 
3. Select Apps. 
4. Tap on the 3 dots on the upper right. 
5. Select Show system Apps. 
6. Select the Camera App. 
7. Select Storage. 
8. Select Clear Cache.
