I don't think it has anything to do with the regions I previously owned a samsung a05 64g and it had ui7 and I upgraded to a06 and I,m back to ui6.1

Exactly bro, it's frustrating how we keep getting left behind while others are two versions ahead. Samsung really needs to speed up updates for everyone, not just flagships. We all deserve the latest features
