Whatsapp voice message stops playung

Im having issues when listening to whatsapp voice messages on my Samsung A54 device. When I hold the phone to my ear it stops playing after a few seconds and then I have to press the play button to continue. 

How do I fix this?

Is anyone els experiencing the same issue?

Once you place the phone on your ear. Don't move it until the voice message is finished.

I do keep the phone still. It still stops after a few seconds.
