1. Check WhatsApp Media Visibility. Open WhatsApp: Tap the three dots (Menu) at the top right > Settings > Chats. Ensure Media Visibility is turned ON. For specific chats or groups: Open the chat, tap the contact's or group’s name, & check if Media Visibility is set to "Yes." 2. Enable Hidden Albums in Gallery Open the Gallery app. Tap the three-dot menu (More options) in the top-right corner. Select Settings & ensure the option to view Hidden Albums is turned ON. Check if the "WhatsApp" folder is listed under hidden albums. 3. Use Samsung’s File Manager Open My Files (Samsung’s file manager). Navigate to Internal Storage > WhatsApp > Media. Look for the folders: WhatsApp Images WhatsApp Video Check for a .nomedia file: If found, delete it. This file hides media from appearing in the gallery. Restart your phone to refresh the gallery. 4. Restart Your Phone Restarting your phone can help re-index your media files, making them appear in the gallery again.
5. Rescan Media Using Samsung Gallery Open the Gallery app. Pull down the screen to refresh or force it to rescan media files. You can also install a free app like Media Rescan from the Play Store to force a media re-index. 6. Recover Deleted Files on Samsung Open My Files or Recycle Bin (Trash) in the Gallery app: In the Gallery app, tap More > Recycle Bin, and restore deleted WhatsApp images or videos if available.
