So I found out something today by experimenting.So many of you have probably by now found out that your phone is verry laggy and slow after a restart.Which is sometimes annoying especially if you want to use your phone immediately.
What we need to remember:A phone is powered by hardware which powers the software so after a restart this hardware and software needs to warm up 1st,the CPU and GPU needs to get up and running which means apps needs to get up and running and system Recources needs to get up and running and this leads to initial lag and slowness after a restart
THE SOLUTION:
This is something I found out tonight...its verry simple but also deep.After a restart just keep your phone unlocked(don't allow it to lock)and set your screen time out for up to 30 minutes and don't interact with your phone for atleast 15 minutes.(You may set your screen time out back to normal once your phone is up and running)Remember the whole purpose is to keep your screen on.
Why?Think of it like this...your phone when on, but not locked and you are not interacting with it is like a car that is on idle by the time you get in the car it's ready to go.The same thing applies to our phones.Keeping the screen on after a restart and preventing it to lock forces the system to aggressively stay up and running,CPU and GPU processes is sped up and everything is active in the background...and the result?By the time you start interacting with the device it will be up and ready no lag are stuttering
WHAT HAPPENS WHEN OUR PHONE'S GO ON LOCK:
The phone is on idle but CPU and GPU power is restraint.CPU clock speed is reduced.This is called deep sleep or low power state and many background processes are paused and put in highly throttled state.
And this is why our phone's is always laggy after unlocking(especially after a restart)
NOTE:Always put your phone where it will be safe when doing this trick...I know some of you are big on privacy and becareful of the kids.
AND ALSO NOTE:This will help nothing if your phone is always on power saving mode sorry.
