The Gemini app just disappeared

Whenever you activate Gemini , a short cut is created resembling an app, but today, it just vanished for my home screen

I tried searching for it and even re activating Gemini, but I still couldn't find it.

Can any help

Uninstall it then reinstall it via play store

Plus, when I activated G Boy, it just popped up on my home screen

What's the purpose of the gemini app anyways I find it to be the first app I never had a chance to use.
