I wish we could fully control spotify on lock screen. I know we can forward and play on lock screen but can't we get an option to open the whole app on lock screen and have it show the artworks in full.

Spotify is an overated app they are only now after all these years in the works to bring a hi fi plan to the app.And if you want to controle your music from lock screen than Samsung music app does it.

Having a companion device like the Galaxy Watch makes that possible. Any other android wear device should do the trick as well.

What I like about Spotify is the seamless integration with Google Home.

Basically if you have a Google enabled device you can basically use the same Spotify account to control for 2 different devices.

Devices that have Google smart display and. XIAOMI smart clock seem to work fine and does not lock but still keeps your personal info separate.
