Samsung A33 5G but no 5G

Hello guys,

I got this phone from March 2024.

I wonder whether you have experienced that your Samsung A33 doesn't receive 5G network.

Whereas I do receive 5G network with my iPhone. I had already tried to switch SIM card from Orange Madagascar to Telma but I have the same result.

I live in Madagascar and 2 of 3 local cellular networks have 5G now.

Do you know what is the issue ?

Even when I was travelling in China on August, the device only receives 4G.

The model name is SM-A336E/DSM

And everyday, it's H+, 4G or 4G+ depending on my location.

It's either you didn't activate the 5g settings, or your line haven't started offering 5g services or It's the area you're

The 2 of 3 local networks are offering 5G services. The weird things is I didn't have 5G when I was travelling in China.

If you go to your settings > Connections > mobile networks , is there any information about 5G ,the screenshot i attached is any example of a 4g device

Ok have you tried to modify your Access Point Names settings

Maybe you can start by mentioning your service provider so that i see if i can come out with some ideas
