Is the anyone else who has this build number on their Samsung a55 who haven't received any updates even my security patch level is 1 February 2024 and still no one ui 7

I don't have One UI 7 too on A55 but of different build number

Yeah, that why i think I have a software issue i was waiting for one ui 7 hoping I will get as it is a major update while I am not getting any patches 🤦🏿‍♂️

Even though other A55 5G models are getting One UI 7, your AY6C/XFA combo just hasn’t hit the release window yet — but it will get it soon, likely before the end of May 2025 unless a critical bug causes a further delay.

Yes, the update will put you on either April or May security patch.

Why this delay might be happening:

1. Firmware Branch Divergence

AY6C may represent a separate update branch that Samsung hasn't merged into the One UI 7 stream yet.

Samsung might be preparing to jump directly to One UI 7 for these builds — skipping smaller monthly patches in between.


2. South Africa-Specific Hold

If there's local customization, such as mobile banking app compliance, emergency broadcast features, or even translation/localization bugs, Samsung can hold updates for that region until fixed.


3. Internal Testing Delay

Some Samsung builds are tested internally for longer periods if issues are found. South Africa's XFA CSC may be part of a batch that failed certain QA tests recently.

Hopefully it comes sooner rather than later 🙏 I tend not to worry so much about Firmware updates as long as it's not effecting my use case for my day to day 😅 then they'll have non stop spamming emails from my side.
