The error "Can't play videos - file type not supported" typically occurs when your Samsung Gallery app doesn't recognize or support the video format. Here’s how you can troubleshoot and fix the issue:

Check the File Format. Ensure the video format is supported by your phone. Samsung devices generally support formats like MP4, 3GP, and AVI. If the file is in a less common format (e.g., MKV, FLV), it may not play natively. I suggest you try to rename your video file format to the one compatible with your phone

Clear Gallery's cache & data

Go to Settings > Apps > Gallery > Storage.Tap Clear Cache. If the issue persists, tap Clear Data (this will not delete your photos or videos).

Ensure your Samsung Gallery app is up-to-date. Go to the Galaxy Store or Google Play Store and check for updates.
