[Solved] I found an app on google play store called Nomedia which adds .nomedia to folders to hide them. I turned .nomedia ON, on the folders which were not appearing on my music app(adding .nomedia) then I turned it off again (removing .nomedia). Folders were now being recognized in the music app.
