I noticed with this new update that my phone is moving slower, especially when moving or copying files from my internal to external memory... anyone else facing this issue? And has anyone figured out how to resolve this?

Hi, AkrChipperJet kindly optimize your device.

1. From the home screen, swipe either up or down to access apps.
2. Tap Settings.
3. Tap Battery and device Care.
4. Tap Optimize now.

If the issue persists, please perform a soft reset of your device.

Press and hold the power and volume down buttons for about 10 seconds.

*The device may take a screenshot, however, keep holding the buttons for a few more seconds.

I've tried this but unfortunately to no avail. I doubt it's the phone. Its definitely the new software. Hopefully it's resolved soon.

Yes, I noticed after the android 11 update, copying and moving files from Computer or Internal Storage to SD Card is very slow with SD Card encryption enabled compared to android 10, writing files to SD Card was fast even with SD Card encryption enabled. Tried factory reset, soft reset, cleared cache in recovery but nothing worked. I think they change the way encryption works for external storage in android 11. I get a max speed of 3.5 MB/s in Android 11 and up to 13 MB/s in Android 10 with same SD card and encryption enabled. Without encryption writing speed goes up to about 20 MB/s in both android version.

They must have overlooked this detail with the new update. Hopefully it gets resolved but thank you for your input
