Galaxy AYou can test this by ejecting and reinserting your SD card or by going to storage and see if you can see your SD card there with all the files in it.
For the phone storage I'm not sure.
Maybe your phone has a virus or it has another problem that might need factory reset.
Please see attached screenshots on how to access your SD card on your phone.
Please check what is says shown in the last screenshot.
