Galaxy A
Hi everyone, I'm experiencing a serious issue after updating my Galaxy A55 to One UI 7.
The phone keeps restarting automatically, but it only happens when I'm not using it — for example:
While it's charging
At night while I'm sleeping
Or even when it's just in my pocket and idle
After the restart, it shows the Android logo, then a black screen with the message “ONE UI apps optimizing,” and then the phone boots normally.
However, it doesn't stop there — the device keeps restarting every 5 to 10 minutes as long as I'm not using it.
Has anyone else faced this issue?
Is there any known solution or fix?
Thanks in advance!

Try these steps to fix the auto-restart issue on your Galaxy A55 after the One UI 7 update:
Wipe cache partition:
Turn off phone Hold Power + Volume Up until recovery screen appears Use volume keys to select Wipe cache partition, confirm with Power button
Turn off Auto optimization:
Go to Settings > Battery and device care > Auto optimization Disable Restart when needed
Safe Mode test:
Hold Power > Long press on “Power off” > Tap Safe Mode Leave phone idle and check if it still restarts If not, an app might be causing it — uninstall recently installed or updated apps
Software update:
Check Settings > Software update for any patches Samsung may have released
If problem continues, back up your data and consider a factory reset or visit a Samsung service center.
