Finger print sensor not responding

My galaxy A24 finger print sensor is not responsive. What could be the problem and how can we resolve it ?

Its been months with my A16 not reading fingerprints. I gave up on it.🤦‍♀️

For real, even my A14 was faster and more reliable than my A16

Try cleaning it sensor with a tissue or something like that. Finger print sensors do get dirty over time and need to be wiped every now and then
