Battery Protection

Is anyone still experiencing battery protection issues? UI 7 updated and still NONE of the features work.... any ideas?

Which battery protection features, because on mine i use the one which stops my phone to charge at 95%

That one works, but I would prefer the Basic option, which is the one that doesn't function.
