Galaxy AFellow Africans, let’s gather here and discuss how we can also get access to One UI 7 or 8. It’s frustrating being left out of these updates. If anyone has ideas or suggestions, feel free to share. Let’s make our voices heard!

Africa is a small market. They do sell a lot of devices however not a lot of flagships.

True, but even mid-range users deserve updates. Samsung should recognize the growing tech community in Africa. We matter too!

Every device gets the update but remember they push the earlier version of the beta update to flagships predominantly leaving the midranges to almost last.

Yeah true, but Samsung should consider balancing it out. Not everyone can afford flagships, and midrange devices are the most used here. We also need those features and updates in time

Its simple, you can download firmware for Indian, it works better in Africa. Like mine i use software for India. Its better than for Kenya and South Africa. That way you can get it. Or you can download a firmware for a country that One Ui 7 or 8 and flash it in your Samsung usin Odin flashing too, its easy that way.

True that @SG_Kaluzi, flashing Indian firmware is a smart move. It’s usually more up-to-date and stable for our region. Just gotta be careful during the Odin process to avoid soft-bricking the device

Hey Nicolas-Jackson, I feel you! Sometimes updates take longer to reach certain models or regions. Meanwhile, you might try checking for updates manually in Settings > Software update, or consider flashing a firmware for a nearby region like India if you’re comfortable with Odin. Just be cautious with the process to avoid any issues. Hope you get One UI 7 soon!
