Funny thing I haven't received it yet in South Africa for A12. Have searched for latest updates .to no avail

If u have a pc try using samsung smart switch on ur pc to check for the update

Why does my Samsung A12 lag after I updated it to ONE UI 4.1. After the update everything is suddenly slow

They say u mast factory reset ur device after a major os update

Which is what I'm gonna do after I updated my a12

Currently I'm still backing up my data to my pc

You don't have go that far. Just wipe your cache partition. That's what I did after I received the update on my A12 and the lagging went away.
