I know it’s allowed to post anything here, but this forum is mainly for discussions about Samsung devices and services, and in a broader sense, other related devices and services too. However, every day I see people posting poetry, unrelated memes, personal artwork, and now even Islamic posts—on which no one dares to criticize because the subject is too sensitive for many of us.
The point is, this is not a common social media platform. This is not the place to preach anything, because there aren’t many people here who come to learn about religion. Instead, you should post such content on Facebook, Instagram, or other platforms where it can actually reach more people.
People come here to ask questions and learn about Samsung products and services, but now there are more unrelated posts than Samsung-related ones. This makes it harder for people to find useful content—which in itself could also be considered a sin. There is a time and place to preach, but just like you wouldn’t preach in a business magazine where people come to learn about business, you shouldn’t do it here either.
If you are still eager to share and preach, why not set those ayat and ahadees as your wallpapers and share screenshots instead? That way, you can still spread your message and also keep it relevant to the theme of the forum.
I focused more on Islamic preaching because it’s too sensitive to criticize, but I’m equally against other unrelated posts like random poetry or memes. Still, you are free to post anything if it’s within the rules. For example, even if someone posts bikini photos, as long as they are allowed by the rules, technically they can post them. But just because you can post something doesn’t mean you should. It’s always better to keep the community as helpful and relevant as possible for everyone.
