Exciting update! A reliable Samsung insider has revealed that the company is pushing its software team to accelerate work on the next version of One UI, possibly named One UI 8. The goal is to launch it early this year, in perfect sync with Android 16. This move highlights Samsung’s focus on keeping its devices up-to-date, especially after the disappointing delay of One UI 7.

Samsung is pushing to finish its next One UI version fast, aiming for a launch right after Android 16 drops in June 2025. It’s likely to be One UI 8, though the name isn’t confirmed.

Samsung is clearly trying to rebuild trust after the backlash from the delayed One UI 7 rollout. The Android 15-based update didn’t arrive until April 7, 2025, much later than users expected. Meanwhile, the Galaxy S25 series launched with One UI 7 pre-installed, leaving owners of older devices feeling neglected. This time around, Samsung seems determined to avoid the same misstep by pushing to release the next version on time and keep all users satisfied.

This is indeed exciting news about Samsung's push for a faster One UI 8 release! It's great to see them prioritizing timely updates and aiming to align with Android 16's launch. However, while we're looking forward to One UI 8, it's crucial that Samsung doesn't forget about the users still waiting for the promised One UI 7 updates. Many are still feeling the sting of the significant delay, and it's essential that Samsung delivers on those commitments to rebuild trust. A swift One UI 8 release is fantastic, but only if it's accompanied by fulfilling the promises made regarding One UI 7 for existing users.

You're right! One UI 8 is exciting, but they need to deliver on the One UI 7 promises first. Hope they balance both!

Exactly! It's all about balance and fulfilling commitments. While the prospect of a faster One UI 8 release is definitely promising, it shouldn't come at the expense of those still waiting for One UI 7. Samsung needs to demonstrate that they value all their users, both those with the latest devices and those with slightly older ones. Hopefully, they can manage to prioritize both delivering on their existing promises and pushing forward with the next major update.

It sounds to unrealistic but it's true that Samsung is learning from there mistake and trying to release the UI 8 with the android 16 in June
After the delay of UI 7 for 4 months
