Community GuidelinesTo update the software on your Galaxy A30s, please follow these steps:
1. Open Settings → Software update.
2. Tap Download and install.
3. If an update is available, follow the on-screen instructions.
Please note that Samsung releases major Android updates and security patches in phases, based on region, carrier, and device model. This means an update may appear earlier in some countries, while in others it might take a little more time. If your phone is already on the latest version available for your region, you won’t see a new update until it’s officially rolled out.
Make sure your phone has at least 50% battery and is connected to a stable Wi-Fi network before starting the update.

To assist you further, follow these steps:
1. Settings > Software update > Download and install > Download > Install now.
2. Software update via Smart Switch :
Step 1. Connect your device to your computer using the USB cable provided with your device, and then open Smart Switch on your computer.
Step 2. If a software update is available, Smart Switch might automatically prompt you to update the software or will display an option to update.
Step 3. Click Update and use the on-screen prompts to download the necessary files.
Step 4. Click OK to proceed. Your device may turn off and on a few times during the update process. When the update is complete, the device returns to the Home screen.
