The Galaxy S24 Camera offers an advanced image quality experience that takes into account expert opinions and consumer trends.

Based on the powerful AP performance, the AI object recognition engine, which was only available on the front camera in the previous model, is applied to all rear cameras in the Galaxy S24, providing optimized image quality for each area by separately applying optimal image quality such as detail, contrast, and color to areas of interest such as faces, clothes, sky, and trees recognized by AI. In addition, an AI-based image quality control system (Tone/Exposure/Color/Focus/Detail) is applied to realistically capture the subject as it appears, expressing enhanced primary colors and high dynamic range. If you look at the photo below, you can see the realistic colors of the sky and trees, the three-dimensional clouds, and the details of the pink muhly.

HDR (High Dynamic Range) performance for light and dark areas has also been greatly improved, extending the HDR function previously applied to captured footage to the preview screen to provide a wider dynamic range and enhance the HDR experience when shooting to get closer to what you see.

In order to provide the ability to capture bright and clear images even in nighttime environments, S24's night solution has greatly strengthened its AI technology by improving training data, improving image quality based on deep learning, and optimizing the performance of AI models.

The S24 makes use of the phone's movement information when recording videos in a dark environment to distinguish between the shaking of the phone and the subject's movement and applies a different noise-removal processing to the background and moving subjects to enhance the noise-removal performance.
