[Dual Recording]

Dual Recording is a renewed version of a mode that was previously called “Director’s View."

Some users noted that in the previous Director's View mode, the front camera recorded the uncontrolled footage of the photographer when the camera view was changed while shooting with front/rear cameras. Thus, after listening to customers’ reviews, we are providing the improved version as Dual Recording starting with the Galaxy S24 series (excluding S24 FE).

This mode can also record in UHD resolution, and can record not only with a front/rear combination, but also with a combination of rear/rear lenses.

*Dual recording is supported starting from the S24, S24+, S24Ultra, and UHD resolution is only available for the S24Ultra.

If you choose to save the files separately, you can simultaneously get 2 separate videos filmed through each lens as mp4 files.

We think this feature would be very useful for Video Creators. As shown in the example below, if you select an Ultra Wide lens with a wide angle of view and a Telephoto lens with a zoomed in view and save each shot, you can use them to edit the cut in the post-editing process.
