It sounds like Bixby is having trouble recognizing commands due to the added ""Hi Bixby"" text. Here are a few things you can try to fix this issue:
- Navigate to and open Bixby, tap Discover (the compass icon), tap More options (the three vertical dots), and then tap Settings.
- Tap Voice wake-up, and then tap the switch at the top to turn it on.
- Next, tap Delete voice wake-up recordings, and then tap Delete. This option will only appear if you've previously recorded your voice with Bixby.
You can now register another voice recording by tapping Recognize voice. Tap Start, and then follow the on-screen instructions to register your voice. Tap Done when you’re finished.
Now, tap Improve voice wake-up accuracy. Tap Start and follow the on-screen instructions again. When you finish, you can tap Record more to give Bixby even more accuracy, or tap Done if you are finished.
If you find that Bixby is less responsive in other locations, return to this screen and use Improve voice wake-up accuracy again in that location.
If the issue persists, you can try resetting Bixby.
