Safe Mode is a special feature in Samsung smartphones that allows your device to run only the essential system apps and services, temporarily disabling all third-party apps.
How to Enter Safe Mode:
1. Press and hold the Power button.
2. Tap and hold Power Off until Safe Mode appears.
3. Tap Safe Mode to reboot the device.
(You’ll see “Safe mode” in the bottom-left corner of the screen.)
Key Uses of Safe Mode:
1. Troubleshooting App Issues
If your phone is lagging, freezing, restarting, or crashing, booting into Safe Mode helps identify if a third-party app is causing the problem.
2. Battery Drain Diagnosis
In Safe Mode, only system apps run. If the battery lasts much longer, a third-party app is likely draining it in normal mode.
3. Uninstall Problematic Apps
You can easily remove apps that are hidden, crashing, or otherwise causing problems while in Safe Mode.
4. Check for Malware or Bugs
Malware often hides in third-party apps. If the phone runs well in Safe Mode, a suspicious app could be the reason.
How to Exit Safe Mode:
Just restart the phone normally, and it will boot back into standard mode.
