Last month we got OneUI 8 update on Watch 4.
But there was major bug which affected wrist detection. This caused Watch 4 to be locked even while wearing on wrist. Also New gestures were not working reliably.
It was really annoying to unlock Watch everytime.
Now Samsung has released update fix for this. Also it includes latest January 2026 security patch as well.
I have downloaded and installed it now on my Galaxy Watch 4 Bluetooth variant. I can confirm that wrist detection issue is resolved now. Also Watch feels faster to operate now.
