Hi,

I usually turns off my WiFi and location service while I am out of my house.

I have an extra smart tag 2....I am keeping it home.

Is there a way or a samsung routine that will switch on the WiFi when I arrive home just by knowing that the smart tag is in home.

Hello. I don't use tags myself, so I'm not sure, but try to see if you can get it done using the routine option in the SmartThings app menu. See screenshot below.

If anyone knows of an alternative option, please chime in.17 September 2024 132926 GTS_1000054593_1726565366.jpg

Optimize your time and simplify tasks with the Routines feature on your Galaxy phone. Routines adapt to your daily habits and suggest automated actions, eliminating the need for repetitive tasks and settings. For example, when you arrive at work in the morning, Routines can silence notification sounds and enable Wi-Fi. Similarly, as you prepare for sleep, Routines can activate the blue light filter and reduce screen brightness.

How to create a routine

Step 1. From Modes and Routines, then choose the (+) sign.

Step 2. Choose Add the condition that will trigger this routine.

Step 3. Choose Condition.

Step 4. Choose Add the action that this routine will perform.

Step 5. Choose the action

Step 6. Choose the grade for the option, if any, then choose Done.

Step 7. Click Save

Step 8. You can now see the new routine on the Routines home pagehttps://www.samsung.com/ae/support/mobile-devices/how-to-use-the-routines-feature-on-your-galaxy-phone/
