WearablesThank you for reaching out and sharing your concern regarding your Galaxy Watch 7. We understand that your watch is overheating to the point of discomfort, and we appreciate how concerning this must be.
Overheating can sometimes occur due to software or app-related issues, as well as background processes running on the device. To help address this, we recommend the following steps:
- Restart your watch: Press and hold the power button, then select Restart to refresh the system.
- Check for software updates: Go to Settings > Software update > Download and install on your watch to ensure it is running the latest software. Sometimes updates include performance and heat management improvements.
- Close unused apps: Make sure apps running in the background are minimized to reduce workload on the device.
- Remove third-party apps temporarily: If overheating started after installing a new app, try removing it to see if the issue resolves.
- Avoid direct sunlight or high-temperature environments while charging or using the watch.
If the problem persists despite following these steps, we recommend visiting an authorized Samsung Service Center for a full inspection to ensure the device is functioning safely.
We appreciate your patience and understanding while we work to help resolve this issue.
