Samsung HealthI did several half marathons and a 30km run (logged in the Health app), and wanted to prepare for full marathon. I tried the new running coach. The 12minute test still put me on level 4. Please let us change this level manually and start the marathon training.

Samsung HealthThank you for contacting us and sharing your concern regarding the Samsung Health app issue.
Please follow the troubleshooting steps below to resolve the problem. After completing all steps, check whether the issue has been resolved or if it still persists.
- Complete the Current Plan
The most direct—though sometimes frustrating—way to unlock higher levels is to complete the suggested Level 4 training plan.
After finishing the plan or completing several guided runs, the app will reassess your level and may move you to a more advanced program.
- Retake the Test
You can reset your Running Coach plan and take the 12-minute test again.
- Open the Samsung Health app on your phone.
- Go to the Running coach section.
- Find your current training plan and tap More options (three vertical dots) or a similar menu.
- Select Test again or Restart program.
- When retaking the test, push yourself harder and rate your exertion accurately—or slightly higher—to improve the level evaluation.
- Use Manual Interval Training
As a workaround, you can use the general Running workout mode and manually create custom workouts.
This allows you to follow pace or distance targets from an external marathon or running program.
- Submit a Feature Request
If you want more control over the Running Coach, you can submit feedback requesting the ability to manually choose your starting level or target race distance.
- Open the Samsung Members app.
- Tap Support > Suggestions.
- Submit your request for manual level adjustment.

Samsung HealthI have to add that this is infuriating. I've run several full marathons and the running coach only allows me to train for a half marathon (level 7). This is such a restrictive feature; most other running coaching apps allow YOU to set the goal, and will tailor the plan accordingly.

Samsung HealthThis is a very bad answer. "Complete the Current Plan"??? It's a lot of time until we can reach our real objetive. "Retake the Test" doesn't exist! "Use Manual Interval Training" so the Running Coach is useless.

Samsung HealthThank you for sharing your feedback regarding the Running Coach feature in Samsung Health.
We understand your concern about not being able to manually adjust your running level despite your previous running experience. Kindly note that the Running Coach program is designed to automatically determine your level based on the 12-minute test and your performance data, in order to provide a structured and safe training plan.
At the moment, manual adjustment of the running level or directly selecting a higher training goal (such as a full marathon) is not supported within the Running Coach feature.
As alternatives, you may consider the following:
- Continue the current training plan, as the system will reassess your level based on your progress and performance
- Retake the fitness test (if the option is available on your device) to potentially achieve a higher level
- Use the standard Running mode to create and follow your own customized training plan based on your goals
Your input helps improve future updates and features.
