When we need to correct something in between the text, we tap on the text and a special cursor appears. If that cursor is at current place, it's ok however moving it right or left is a problem..... If you hold it by your thumb, the thumb practically covers the text as well and one can't see where the cursor actually is.... To see it one has to tilt the phone and see from all the way up. This is a big hassle, please change this to something more convenient.... Something like iPhone which shows a magnified view at top of your thumb position when cursor is being moved left or right. That's very convenient.
Almost all of cursor problems would go away if you just introduce cursor keys in the mix as swipe control for cursor position is also annoying and most of the time selects the symbol from where you are trying to swipe from...
