VoLTE call

During phone calls, my mobile data turns off. I’m using two SIM cards, and one SIM is automatically selected for VoLTE . I want to change it to the other SIM. How can I do that?

1. Go to Settings
2. Tap Connections or SIM card & mobile networks
3. Select SIM card manager (or similar option)
4. Choose the SIM you want to enable VoLTE for
5. Toggle VoLTE calls ON for that SIM
6. If VoLTE is already enabled on both, set your preferred SIM as the default for calls and mobile data

> 📌 Note: Some devices only allow VoLTE on one SIM at a time, depending on carrier support and hardware limitations.

📶 Fix Mobile Data Dropping During Calls

This usually happens when:
- VoLTE is disabled on the active SIM
- You're on a 2G/3G call, which can't handle simultaneous voice + data

To fix it:
- Make sure VoLTE is enabled on the SIM you're using for calls
- Set that SIM as the default for mobile data
- If your device supports Dual VoLTE, enable it (some Samsung models do)

Hi 👋,

When you’re using two SIM cards, only one SIM can be set as the default for VoLTE (4G calling). That’s why your mobile data gets disabled during calls when the non-VoLTE SIM is used.

You can switch the VoLTE SIM by following these steps:

1. Open Settings → Connections → SIM manager.

2. Under Preferred SIMs, choose which SIM you want to use for Calls and Mobile data.

3. Make sure VoLTE calls is enabled for that SIM (you’ll see the toggle inside the SIM settings).

4. Restart your device once after making changes.

Note: Only one SIM can handle VoLTE at a time, so if your carrier doesn’t support it on the second SIM, mobile data will pause during calls.
