Galaxy S
The user experience on the S24 Ultra is somewhat diminished by the presence of visible lines and grain within the quick panel, which is not ideal for a device of this caliber. Additionally, the absence of HDR support for the wallpaper and the inconsistent performance of the dark AMOLED feature across different applications are notable shortcomings, especially considering the OLED display. It is hoped that these issues will be resolved in UI 8 or 8.1. The current HDR implementation seems to be flawed, and its limited compatibility is a cause for concern. The perceived lack of performance gains from the processor is also a subject of interest. 👾👾👾👾👾👾👾👾👾👾👾👾👾👾👾👾👾👾

Hi 👋
Thanks for sharing such a detailed observation.
I get your point, on a premium device like the S24 Ultra, things like visible lines in the quick panel, HDR wallpaper support, and consistent AMOLED dark mode performance do matter a lot to the overall experience. Samsung is aware that HDR implementation and compatibility across apps can still improve, and refinements are often rolled out gradually with major updates like One UI 8/8.1.
As for performance, the latest processors usually focus more on efficiency and AI-based tasks rather than just raw speed gains, which is why the difference may feel subtle in day-to-day use.
Your feedback is very valuable, and posts like yours help Samsung fine-tune features in future updates. Hopefully, One UI 8/8.1 brings noticeable improvements in these areas.
