I recently updated my phone to the newest ui 6 and was really excited for the new wave feature of media player. When I played music on my phone from Spotify it wasn't working. I tried restarting and did everything but still it wouldn't work. When I played music on other apps such as esound the feature worked. I mainly use Spotify for listening to songs so what do I do to solve this issue. Is this Spotify 's problem or my problem? Is anyone else experiencing this? And also when I play Spotify on my ipad I can see the feature working on my phone is my spotify is open since both the ipad's and phones is the same accoun. But when u individually play on my phone the feature wouldn't work. Please help

This is a problem with the application not being compatible with the UI6 update. The app needs to be updated to be compatible UI6

After recent updates, it's possible that some apps may face issues or challenges due to compatibility issues. We recommend that you stay vigilant by regularly checking for the latest updates of your apps on the app store.

To ensure a smooth experience, follow these steps:
Open the app store on your device.
Navigate to the "Updates" section.
Check for updates for your installed apps.
If updates are available, proceed to install them.

By keeping your apps up to date, you can mitigate potential compatibility issues and ensure optimal performance.

New wave feature in One UI 6’s media player is working fine in general since it shows up with other apps and even when you play Spotify from your iPad, but the issue only happens when you play directly on your phone. This points to a compatibility problem between the current Spotify app on Android and the new One UI 6 media player rather than an issue with your phone itself. Many users have reported similar problems after system updates, so you’re not alone. The best fix for now is to make sure your Spotify app is updated to the latest version, and if the issue still persists, you might need to wait for Spotify to release an update that fully supports One UI 6. Some users also try reinstalling the app or testing with a different version of the Spotify free to see if it works better. Since the feature works with other apps, it’s very likely a Spotify-side issue rather than your device.
