Galaxy SThank you for contacting us and sharing your concern.
-
Basic & Common Fixes
-
Restart Your Phone: A simple restart is often surprisingly effective at clearing temporary audio glitches.
-
Check App Updates: Ensure both your Instagram app and the affected games are updated via the Google Play Store and the Galaxy Store. The developers may have patched compatibility issues with the new OS.
-
Disable "Adapt Sound": Sometimes adaptive audio features interfere with consistent playback.
-
Go to Settings > Sound and vibration > Sound quality and effects > Adapt sound.
-
Ensure this is set to "No guidance" or turned off.
-
-
Advanced Troubleshooting
-
Wipe Cache Partition: This is a very common solution for post-update issues and often resolves performance and audio glitches without deleting personal data.
-
Turn off your phone.
-
Connect your phone to a computer using a USB cable.
-
Press and hold the Volume Up and Power keys simultaneously until the Samsung logo appears.
-
In the Recovery Mode menu, use the volume keys to navigate to "Wipe cache partition" and the power key to select it.
-
Select "Yes" to confirm.
-
Select "Reboot system now."
-
-
Check Notification Settings: The cuts might happen when a notification tries to make a sound but is silenced. Go to Settings > Notifications > Advanced settings and check how app notifications are displayed and sound.
-
Restrict Background App Activity: Ensure the affected apps are running without interference.
-
Go to Settings > Apps, select the specific game or Instagram.
-
Tap Battery > Select Unrestricted to ensure the system doesn't put the app to sleep, which might cut the audio feed.

Galaxy SThank you for updating us. We understand how frustrating it can be when the issue returns after troubleshooting. To help resolve the sound problem on your Galaxy S25 Ultra, please try the following additional steps:
- Check Volume Settings: Ensure that the volume is turned up and that your device is not in Silent Mode or Do Not Disturb. Go to Settings > Sounds and vibration to adjust the sound settings.
- Clear Cache: Clear the cache partition of your device by turning it off, then holding the Volume Up button and the Power button simultaneously until the Samsung logo appears. This will help clear any temporary system files that might be causing the issue.
- Check for Interfering Apps: Sometimes, third-party apps can interfere with system functions like sound. Try restarting your device in Safe Mode (hold the Power button, then tap and hold Power off until Safe Mode appears) to check if the issue persists.
- Software Update: Ensure that your device’s software is up to date by going to Settings > Software update > Download and install.
- Check Audio Settings: If you're using Bluetooth or external speakers, make sure the device is properly connected and that the audio output is set to the correct source.
If the problem continues despite these steps, it could be a hardware issue. We recommend visiting a Samsung Service Center for further inspection. You can find the nearest service center here:
