Galaxy SLong press the Camera icon then select App Info or the "i" sign on the right side > Storage > Clear Catch and Clear Data.
Make sure to transfer your photos in Camera folder inside the Gallery to a different folder.
All you camera settings will be reset to default so you have to change it after those steps.

Galaxy SHi there,
Please try these steps and let us know if it helps resolve the issue:
-Settings
-Apps
-from the top right menu choose Show system apps
-Camera
-Storage
-Clear cache & Clear data Also, you may need to test the camera by following the below steps:
1- Open Samsung members application
2- Get help
3- Interactive checks
4- Camera
If the Samsung Members app is not installed on your phone, you can dial *#0*# and test Mega cam and Front cam
If the test result was good, you may need to follow the below steps:
Open the camera > Settings > Reset settings > Reset
