Hey, I'm having trouble getting notifications for Instagram, WhatsApp, and Messenger on my S24 Ultra. I've tried restarting my phone, clearing the cache, and changing the notification settings, but it's still not working. Have you had this issue? Any suggestions?

Seems like notifications from all your Meta applications are delayed.

I'm instantly receiving my WhatsApp messages.

I haven't experienced this issue personally, but it sounds frustrating. Let's try a couple more troubleshooting steps. Have you checked if these apps are restricted in their background data usage or battery optimization settings? Sometimes those settings can interfere with notifications.

We apologize for this inconvenience, can you try these steps:

- Disable Do not disturb and Power Saving on the phone
- Disable an app's power saving settings
- Check if an app's notifications are turned on

if the issue still there please raise error report.

Hi,

After two months of using Galaxy S24 ultra , I’m experiencing this frustrating issue

Twenty percent of the time, notifications on my new phone are delayed ( 2-10 Minutes ). Apps like WhatsApp, Telegram, and Instagram experience this issue. Currently, I also have a Google Pixel 8 Pro , and it doesn’t have this problem. It seems that this issue is specific to Samsung phones because 99 percent of the time notifications are delivered very quickly on the Pixel.

When the phone is connected to the charger , notifications are delivered quickly.

I'm super late to this but I had my s24 for a while and had the same issue and after doing a lot of research I figured what was happening! Heads up, it's not good news that I found. So the problem is in how android is coded, the notification delay comes from the doze mode rooted into android and there's no easy to way to turn it off, it has to be done through the ADB but the whole thing is just not worth it. What Doze Mode does is after about 15-20 minutes of your phone being locked or unused, it enters a power saving state to extend battery life, and unlike the power saving modes in Samsung or any other android, Doze mode can't be turned off as its a root level coding. Since the main job of doze mode is to save battery life, it delays notifications for most apps but some apps have high priority like the google messages app or the default messaging app for any android phone and they can actually override the doze mode which is why you will text messages instantly but everything else is delayed. If your phone is getting power like in charge, you will get all notifications instantly like you are supposed to. It **bleep** because I really like the s24 but the delay in notifications are why I had to switch back to iPhone, having notifications on time shouldn't be an issue, especially in 2024 and especially for a big company like Samsung
