Hi, I understand your concern 🙂.
If your device is not switching automatically between 2G/3G/4G/5G and only allows manual network selection, please try these steps:
1. Restart your phone and check again.
2. Go to Settings > Connections > Mobile Networks > Network Mode and make sure it is set to 5G/LTE/3G/2G (auto connect).
3. If the option is greyed out or not working, try removing and reinserting your SIM card.
4. Test the SIM in another phone to confirm if the issue is with the SIM or the device.
5. If the issue continues, kindly contact your network provider – sometimes restrictions are applied from their side.
If none of the above helps, please run a test through the Samsung Members → Support → Phone Diagnostics tool and share the report with Samsung Support for further assistance.
