Galaxy SThank you for contacting us and sharing your concern regarding the issue.
You need to follow the troubleshooting steps below to solve the problem. After completing all the steps, please check whether the issue is resolved or still exists.
Troubleshooting Steps:
-
Restart your phone:
This can clear temporary memory issues that might be causing the crash. -
Clear NFC cache:
Corrupted cache for the NFC system service can interfere with its performance.-
Go to Settings > Apps.
-
Tap the filter icon next to "Your apps" and toggle on Show system apps.
-
Find and tap NFC Service.
-
Go to Storage and tap Clear cache, then Clear data.
-
Restart your phone.
-
-
Check your default payment app:
If you have multiple payment apps, ensure the NOL Pay app is set as the default, as conflicts can occur.-
Go to Settings > Connections > NFC and contactless payments.
-
Tap Contactless payments and select NOL Pay.
-
-
Remove any phone case:
Magnetic or thick cases can interfere with the NFC antenna. Try removing your phone's case before making a payment to see if the issue is resolved. -
Try payment without opening the app:
Some users report success by simply holding the phone near the terminal without manually opening the app first. -
Report the bug:
It is crucial to formally report the issue to both Samsung and the app developer (RTA).-
For the NOL Pay app, use the contact information provided in the Google Play Store.
-
For your Samsung phone, use the Samsung Members app to report the bug to Samsung's developers.
